Will you be there?
Just a name, so the organiser knows to expect you. No email, no phone.
A group exhibition at Bridge Waters Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on 29 and 30 August 2026, featuring Elijah Ajayi Snoz among the artists showing.
The first show Azure Canvas House has ever mounted
A house opens once. Whatever it becomes afterwards, there is only one first exhibition, and this is it: Azure Canvas House presents The Inaugural Exhibition at Bridge Waters Hotel in Wuye, Abuja, across two days, 29 and 30 August 2026, from 12:00 noon.
It is a group exhibition
The invitation carries one name, Elijah Ajayi Snoz, but the show is not a solo. Several artists are exhibiting together, and Elijah is one of them. Planet-B has not been given the full list of names, so it does not print one. What can be said is what is true: this is a group exhibition, and the artist named on the card is showing alongside others.
Where to be, and when
Bridge Waters Hotel, Wuye, Abuja. Doors at 12:00 noon on both days. The invitation reads, in its own words, "You are cordially invited."
Why this is here before it happens
Planet-B is an archive of what humanity contributes, and an archive usually arrives after the fact. This record arrives before it, on purpose. The countdown above is running, the door is open for names, and on the morning of 31 August this same page stops counting down and starts reporting in the past tense. Nothing gets rewritten. The invitation simply becomes the record.
If you were there, that is worth saying. If you were not, this is what there was.
From the invitation
“You are cordially invited.”
