Every contribution follows the same path — preserved, verified, archived. Artists who want a public Studio of their own take two more steps. Here is exactly what each part looks like.
Create your account & preserve a contribution
Open to everyone — artists, waste workers, climate innovators, researchers, educators, storytellers. A contribution is any act worth keeping: a project, a work, a study, a programme, a story.

Register
Create a free Planet-B account.

Choose what is being preserved
One of nine categories — Art, Waste Management, Climate, Research, Cultural Heritage, Innovation, Community, Education, or Human Stories.

Write the record
A title, a one-line summary, and a description of what happened and why it matters.

Add when & where
Dates, country, region, city — and a chapter, if it belongs to one.

Credit who was involved
Yourself, any other contributors, and any organizations.

Upload the evidence
One cover image, plus up to six supporting photos.

Preserve it — or save a draft
Nothing is public yet either way.

A verifier confirms it
Impact figures are checked against the evidence before anything counts toward a public total. Once published, it is discoverable forever — in the record, on the Global Impact Map, and on your Planet Passport.

Preserving a contribution never requires an application. Building a public Artist Studio does — this is what unlocks it.

Describe your practice
A short bio, and an artist statement published on your page as “In their words.”

Show your work
A portrait, and at least one portfolio or social link.

Optional — exhibitions, education, awards.

Agree & submit — or save a draft
Nothing is submitted until you choose to.

A verifier reviews it by hand
Once approved, your Artist Studio unlocks and you receive a Planet Passport.
