Waste Management
Waste to Treasure
Transforming waste into creativity, opportunity and sustainable livelihoods.
PB-PROJECT-000002
Waste to Treasure is a collaborative environmental sustainability initiative connecting young people, artists, recyclers, institutions and communities to transform waste into art, useful products and economic opportunity.
The project explores how materials commonly treated as waste can be transformed into creative works, everyday objects and new opportunities for learning and livelihood.
Through practical workshops, creative production, community participation and documentation, Waste to Treasure aims to demonstrate that environmental sustainability can also become a pathway for creativity, skills development and economic empowerment.
Planet-B serves as the project's digital layer for documenting people, organizations, contributions, activities, creations and impact.
