I am a contemporary Nigerian visual artist and the creator of Anatomical Sculptural / Relief Cubism, a distinctive visual language that merges the structural principles of Cubism with sculptural texture and expressive human anatomy. Through fragmented forms, layered surfaces, and geometric composition, I explore the complexity of the human condition. identity, resilience, memory, hope, relationships, culture, sacrifice, and transformation. My work seeks to reveal the emotional realities that often remain unseen, inviting viewers to reflect on the shared experiences that shape our lives.
What inspires the work
I am inspired by my own lived experiences. Every work begins with something I have seen, felt, endured, questioned, or overcome. Rather than creating from imagination alone, I transform my personal journey into visual narratives that resonate with the shared experiences of humanity. By reflecting on my own life, I seek to create works that allow others to see parts of themselves, their struggles, resilience, hopes, and emotions, within each piece.
