Contemporary Nigerian artist pioneering Anatomical Sculptural / Relief Cubism, transforming human emotion and resilience into textured geometric forms.
In their words
“I am a contemporary Nigerian visual artist working primarily with acrylic on canvas. My practice explores the human condition through Anatomical Sculptural / Relief Cubism. A visual language I use to merge anatomy, sculptural texture, and geometric forms into emotionally expressive figurative works. My paintings are inspired by the silent realities of everyday life: resilience, identity, emotional burdens, hope, and the unseen weight people carry behind their smiles. Through layered textures and fragmented forms, I seek to reveal what often remains invisible beneath the surface. Anatomical Sculptural / Relief Cubism is more than a style to me; it is my artistic language. It allows me to transform human experiences into sculptural, symbolic compositions that invite viewers to look beyond appearance and connect with the emotional depth of the human experience.”

The archive
Planet-B does not only preserve artworks. It preserves the people, the materials, the ideas and the circumstances that give those works meaning.
That is why this page holds more than a picture and a title. Aikpokhalea Oseremen David’s contribution to Planet-B is one work in one chapter, and it was made by somebody with a career that reaches far outside it. The archive records both, keeps them clearly apart, and does not flatten one into the other.
Identity
Planet Passport
A permanent identifier for one person's contribution. It is not a profile and it is never a score: it exists so that a record can still be found, and checked, long after the people who made it have moved on.
