Selection & Registration
Participant registration and screening: 15 artists selected from diverse backgrounds. Artist selection led by Yusuf Durodola; registration by Katurag Chinyio and Abdullahi Ibrahim.

Community Sensitization Road Walk
Workshop participants walked the community in a sensitization road walk, gathering and raising awareness around waste.

Five-Day Upcycling Art Masterclass
Hands-on masterclass led by Yusuf Durodola (Understanding Upcycling Art & Environmental Consciousness), with Caroline Useh (Transition in the Creative Process) and Temitope Oladeji (The Art of Business, The Business of Art).

Morning Yoga & Opening Ceremony
The day opened with a grounded morning yoga session by Hearts Wellness Studio from 10 to 11 am — mats provided, open to everyone. At 12 pm the exhibition Because There Is No Planet B opened at Nike Art Gallery, Abuja, on World Environment Day, hosted by Nike Art Gallery and sponsored by the Royal Norwegian Embassy.

An embassy that crossed an ocean. A gallery that has taught art since 1983.
The host · Nike Art Foundation / Nike Art Gallery, Abuja
Founded and led by Chief Mrs. Nike Monica Okundaye, established 1983 in Osogbo. A world-renowned institution for artistic education, cultural preservation, and creative empowerment, providing free training in painting, wood sculpture, beadwork, mosaic, batik, adire, appliqué, quilting and more — teaching art in continuity with indigenous African culture. Hosted the workshop and exhibition.

Òdàlè Dà'lẹ̀
He who litters the land is a betrayer of the land.
Examines humanity's careless relationship with the environment, confronting the culture of waste disposal and neglect. Through symbolic actions and spatial intervention, the work presents the earth as a living witness that bears the consequences of human actions — whatever is repeatedly poured onto the land eventually returns to its source. A call for reciprocal respect and environmental responsibility.
