Material

From discard to record

Planet-B follows material as well as authorship. This is the route the archive tracks, and the reason work made from recovered material is preserved the way it is.

    Something is thrown away. At that moment it has no value to anyone.

    Somebody recognises it as a material rather than as rubbish. That recognition is a learned skill.
